At Some Objects, we believe a home should feel thoughtful — not excessive.

We are a small studio, and our approach to sustainability is simple: choose more carefully, produce more mindfully, and encourage objects to be kept, used, and loved for a long time.

Thoughtful Selection

We do not believe in making or offering more than necessary. Each object in our collection is chosen with intention — for its shape, texture, function, and the feeling it brings into a space. Instead of following fast trends, we focus on pieces that feel quiet, timeless, and easy to live with. Our hope is that every item becomes part of your everyday surroundings, not something quickly replaced.

Small-Batch Mindset

As a small studio, we work with limited quantities and avoid overstock whenever possible. This allows us to be more careful with what we bring into the shop, while reducing unnecessary waste caused by overproduction. Some pieces may not always be restocked, but we believe this slower rhythm helps us make better decisions.

Materials & Longevity

We care about materials that feel good, last well, and age naturally over time. Whenever possible, we prioritize pieces made with durable materials and practical finishes. We also encourage gentle care, mindful use, and keeping objects for as long as they continue to bring warmth to your home. A sustainable object is not only about how it is made — it is also about how long it stays with you.

Packaging

We are gradually working toward packaging that is protective, simple, and less wasteful. Because many home objects are fragile, safe delivery is still our first priority. However, we try to avoid unnecessary layers and keep our packaging as minimal as possible while making sure your order arrives safely. When possible, please reuse or recycle the packaging materials according to your local recycling guidelines.

A Slower Way of Living

For us, sustainability is not about perfection. It is about small, consistent choices: buying less, choosing better, caring for what we already have, and creating a home filled with objects that truly matter to us. We are still learning and improving, but we hope to build Some Objects with honesty, care, and a slower sense of beauty.

OUR COMMITMENT TO HANDMADE OBJECTS

Some objects are made to be perfectly identical. Handmade objects are different. They carry the quiet traces of the hands that shaped them — a soft irregular edge, a slight variation in color, a surface that feels more human than machine-made. At Some Objects, we value these small differences because they give each piece its own character, warmth, and sense of presence in the home.

Many of the pieces we choose are handmade or finished by hand through slower, more careful processes. They may take more time to create, but we believe that time is part of their value. Rather than seeking absolute perfection, we look for objects that feel honest, tactile, and thoughtfully made — pieces that invite you to slow down, notice the details, and live with them for years to come.
